HEALTH AND SAFETY
All Safety and Health requirements as mentioned in Special conditions of the contract shall be complied with by following the Health and Safety plan of the main contractor during the course of the project.
The Safety officer will ensure that all the staff while on site use personal protective equipment such as safety footwear, safety helmets and safety belts while working in areas more than 2M height.
The Safety Officer shall carry out periodic inspections to check on all Health and safety related issues on site.
The Senior Technical / Project manager (NEW GALAXY) will ensure that only trained and qualified personnel are used for the installation works.
The safety officer will ensure that lifting area is cordoned off during the lifting of materials.
The installation team site engineer shall ensure that the site is clean at the end of the day and that any waste material is collected in a designated area during work period. The collected waste shall then be disposed in to the rubbish bins provided by the Main Contractor.
